Think of Caltrop as an acid fairy who sprinkles acid sounds wherever it's needed (and saves the day). All fun analogies aside, Caltrop's music has a signature sweetness to it. It is nurturing yet banging, accessible yet deep. And this shouldn't come as a surprise given the artist's full-spectrum of musical participation and accomplishments. Having put out an array of dance music on Tigerbeat6, Nude Photo, Jacktone, and In The Dark Again, PLR seems like a good addition to this particular discography.
